With a swift move, Blob snatched Arty in his arms and dodged out of the way, the ink nearly hitting them. Slightly ticked but not losing his cool, he released her and turned to face the tank that was on the other side of the street.
"So what is your problemo, now? You can't just barge in and disrupt the peace!" he yelled from where he was standing.
A megaphone was turned on from the outer shell of the tank. There was some sudden shushing and swearing in the background, then all went silent.
"S-surrender yourselves now, Color Underground members! By order of authority, we have the right to arrest you!" a shrill, yet uncertain male voice was heard. It was well distinguished that it was an Inky.
"Definitely not today, bub!" Blob triumphantly teased. Shrugging in disagreement of being arrested, he continued. "By all means, feel free to try!" He then started with a quick sprint and took a mighty leap into the air, ready to tackle the monstrous contraption.
"W-wait! Halt! Don't attack, aaahhh! The soldier drops the mic, two other voices were heard in the background.
"In the name of Ink, someone pull that switch!" the second soldier demanded.
"I'm coming!" scowled the third soldier.
More movement was heard, followed by a small beep sound. The cannon moved automatically as it aimed at the air-borne Blob.
Not taking too much consideration about the cannon, Blob suddenly dropped elevation and made a swift flipping kick to the barrel of the cannon. The barrel snapped in half like a dry bone, sending splinters of metal into the air as evergreen color splashed onto its surface.
Turning the latch door knob, the Inkies skittered out from the tank before the color lashed their black uniforms of lame design.
Looking irked, but not losing his cool just yet, de Blob walked up to one of the Inkies, who cowered behind a mailbox. His face was beaded with sweat as he shivered from cowardliness. Blob snatched the soldier by the collar of his uniform and lifted him onto his feet with ease.
"Alright, who's plot is this?" Blob asked the frightened soldier. His other hand was curled into a fist in case if he had to beat the answers out of him. "For sure, I haven't heard of Comrade Black for two straight years." he advised the soldier.
"O-of course I know he's nowhere to be seen!" the soldier spat, barely containing himself. "Why, we all heard about this a week afterwards--"
"Let's get off that subject..." Blob interrupted the frightened Inky. "Now tell me who planned this?!" he growled, losing his temper at a fast pace. He lightly shook the soldier, causing him to cower and squeal.
"Aaack! Waaahh! Von Blot! Von Blot! Doctor Von Blot planned this attack! I surrender, just don't hurt me!" the soldier pleaded and waved his arms in a frenzy.
